Imprivata has acquired Verosint for an undisclosed amount, a corporate transaction that significantly expands Imprivata’s digital identity security capabilities. This move integrates Verosint’s specialized identity threat detection and response (ITDR) platform into Imprivata's existing offerings, clearly marking one company buying another.
Verosint provides a Real-Time, Intelligent ITDR platform designed to quickly detect, investigate, and remediate attacks targeting workforce and customer accounts, as well as identity systems. Its platform leverages unified observability and AI-powered behavioral analytics to identify advanced threats and offer continuous protection against sophisticated identity-based attacks such as credential stuffing, account takeover, and MFA fatigue across various identity providers including Okta, Ping/Forgerock, Microsoft, and Google.
The acquisition is strategically significant for Imprivata, a recognized provider in identity and access management solutions.
