ETFS Capital has acquired Tivan Limited for $51.3 million. The transaction sees ETFS Capital take full ownership of Tivan, a diversified critical minerals company based in Darwin, known for its portfolio of projects focused on minerals in structural short supply.

Tivan Limited operates a diversified portfolio of critical mineral projects across various locations and development stages. Its key assets include the Speewah Fluorite and Vanadium Projects in Western Australia, which host Australia’s only JORC-compliant fluorspar resource and one of the largest global vanadium resources. The company also holds the Sandover Fluorite Project in Central Australia, securing mineral rights to all of Australia’s known high-grade fluorite, and the Molyhil Tungsten-Molybdenum Project in the NT. Additionally, Tivan has copper-gold exploration interests in Turiscai, Timor-Leste. Tivan is dedicated to generating long-term value for shareholders while making a positive contribution to local communities, supporting the energy transition and strengthening vital supply chains in Asia.

This acquisition is strategically significant for ETFS Capital, providing immediate access to a robust portfolio of critical mineral assets essential for global industrial and technological advancements. Tivan’s focus on minerals in structural short supply, combined with its active project advancement from acquisition and discovery to full production, aligns with broader market demands for secure and diversified supply chains. The integration of Tivan's projects is expected to create synergies by consolidating expertise in critical mineral development and accelerating project timelines, particularly for its world-class fluorite and vanadium deposits.

The combined entity is poised to leverage Tivan's established project pipeline and operational capabilities to enhance its position in the critical minerals sector. This strategic move is anticipated to strengthen the development and production of key resources, supporting the energy transition and vital supply chains in Asia.
