Kyndryl, a global IT infrastructure services provider, has acquired Solvinity Group B.V., a Dutch provider of secure managed cloud services, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition marks a significant move by Kyndryl to enhance its capabilities in secure cloud environments and expand its service portfolio. Solvinity specializes in delivering highly secure and compliant IT solutions to organizations with stringent security requirements.
Solvinity is recognized for its Secure Managed Cloud Services, catering primarily to the Dutch government, municipalities, and leading organizations in the financial and business services sectors. The company’s offerings include innovative cloud solutions, IT outsourcing, managed hosting, and advanced DevSecOps capabilities, supporting digital transformation initiatives. Solvinity distinguishes itself through a unique cybersecurity portfolio, including a majority stake in Securify.nl, which provides specialized pentesting, Red Teaming, and Agile Security services. The company also holds extensive certifications, including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 1 and 2 compliance.
This acquisition is strategically important for Kyndryl, allowing it to integrate Solvinity's specialized expertise in secure managed cloud and cybersecurity services. The move is expected to bolster Kyndryl's offerings for clients operating in highly regulated industries and those requiring robust data protection and compliance. By incorporating Solvinity’s deep experience with public cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, alongside its private cloud capabilities, Kyndryl can expand its secure hybrid cloud solutions. The addition of Solvinity’s 300 "Solvineers" and its strong market presence in the Netherlands will further strengthen Kyndryl's footprint in key European markets.
The combined entity is positioned to deliver an expanded suite of secure managed IT services, offering clients enhanced capabilities in cloud security, compliance, and digital transformation. This integration aims to provide a more comprehensive and resilient foundation for organizations seeking to manage their critical IT infrastructure securely while navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
