The acquiring entity, SOCAR Turkey Enerji A.Ş., is a cornerstone of Turkey's industrial landscape, having commenced operations in 2008 with the acquisition of a 51% stake in Petkim. It has since grown into Turkey's largest industrial group, driving major projects that are set to reach $19.5 billion upon completion. Its extensive portfolio includes leading companies such as Petkim, TANAP, STAR Refinery, SOCAR Terminal, Petkim RES, Bursagaz, Kayserigaz, SOCAR Enerji Ticaret, SOCAR Ticaret, and SOCAR Depolama.
