The company covers the entire offshore wind power value chain and manages a global pipeline exceeding 20 GW in various stages of development.
This acquisition is strategically aimed at solidifying Skyborn Renewables' mission to establish offshore wind power as a critical, reliable, and commercially viable pillar of a decarbonised future. The company focuses on proven technologies, mature markets, and disciplined execution, developing, building, owning, and operating offshore wind farms using standardised fixed-bottom technology. The strategic rationale behind this internal acquisition emphasizes a structured, repeatable approach to project development, aiming for project Final Investment Decision (FID) every 12-18 months, and maintaining a leading role in projects through first-class in-house leadership in asset management.
