Jifmar Group has acquired Seacontractors, the global maritime service provider and anchor handling tug supplier (AHTS), for an undisclosed amount. This corporate acquisition sees Jifmar Group take ownership of Seacontractors' extensive operations and assets, marking a significant consolidation in the specialized maritime sector.
Seacontractors is recognized for its expert project support worldwide, operating a fleet of over eight Anchor Handling Tugs (AHT) and AHTS vessels with bollard pulls ranging from 70 to over 200 tons. With a focus on anchor handling, terminal and deep-sea towage, and various other maritime operations, the company has operated in more than 95 countries across five continents for over two decades. Its services cater to critical industries including renewables, oil & gas, salvage, maritime infrastructure, and general towage. Seacontractors maintains offices in the Netherlands and Mozambique and employs over 125 professionals.
