Thermador Groupe has acquired Quilinox, a specialist in fluid handling solutions, for an undisclosed amount. This corporate acquisition sees Thermador Groupe expand its capabilities in industrial process equipment, marking a significant strategic move rather than a funding round for Quilinox.
Founded in 1984, Quilinox has established itself as a leader in providing high-quality steel products and solutions for fluid handling. The company advises and supplies a comprehensive range of components designed to regulate, control, measure, and dispense fluids. Its extensive product portfolio includes aseptic and sterile connections, various valves such as check and diaphragm valves, sight glasses, sterile silicone hoses, and specialized equipment like heat exchangers. Quilinox serves diverse and demanding sectors including the Food, Biotechnology, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Microelectronics, and Aerospace industries. The company, which employs 35 people, operates with stringent quality standards, holding certifications such as ISO 9001, CE, ASME-BPE, EHEDG, 3A, and FDA, ensuring material traceability.
The acquisition is strategically driven by Thermador Groupe's aim to strengthen its presence and offerings in critical industrial applications requiring precision fluid management and high purity. Quilinox's deep expertise in hygiene-sensitive industries, its established dealer network in Spain and internationally, and its technically and commercially skilled team represent valuable assets. Thermador Groupe is set to integrate Quilinox's robust product range and specialized services, including distribution, installation, testing, and after-sales support.
This combination is expected to create substantial synergies, enabling the combined entity to offer a more extensive and sophisticated array of fluid handling solutions to a broader customer base. The integration of Quilinox's highly certified product lines and specialized market access will enhance Thermador Groupe's competitive position. Looking forward, the acquisition is anticipated to bolster service capabilities and product innovation, particularly within the demanding Food, Pharma, and Biotech sectors, providing customers with an expanded and highly compliant portfolio of solutions.
