Anta has acquired PUMA Group for an undisclosed amount. PUMA is one of the world’s leading sports brands, designing, developing, selling, and marketing footwear, apparel, and accessories. For more than 75 years, PUMA has relentlessly pushed sport and culture forward by creating fast products for the world’s fastest athletes. PUMA offers performance and sport-inspired lifestyle products in categories such as Football, Running and Training, Basketball, Golf, and Motorsports. It collaborates with renowned designers and brands to bring sport influences into street culture and fashion. The PUMA Group owns the brands PUMA, Cobra Golf and stichd. The company operates in more than 120 countries, employs around 22,000 people worldwide, and is headquartered in Herzogenaurach/Germany.

This strategic acquisition by Anta, a prominent global sportswear company, significantly expands its international footprint and diversifies its product portfolio. The move allows Anta to integrate PUMA's established brand recognition and extensive global distribution network, particularly across Europe, North America, and other key international markets where PUMA holds a strong presence. The acquisition is poised to strengthen Anta's position in a wide array of sports categories and lifestyle segments, leveraging PUMA's deep heritage in performance sports and its significant influence in street culture and fashion. This combination is expected to unlock new growth avenues for both brands.

Expected synergies from the acquisition include enhanced operational efficiencies, combined research and development capabilities, and expanded supply chain advantages across the newly formed group. The integration is anticipated to create significant cross-selling opportunities and optimize market reach for both entities' diverse product offerings, catering to a broader consumer base. The combined entity aims to become a more formidable and diversified player in the global sportswear industry, poised to deliver an even broader range of innovative sports and lifestyle products to consumers worldwide and enhance its competitive standing.
