Bupa, a leading global health and care company, has acquired Partnered Health for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition significantly expands Bupa's direct health service delivery capabilities, integrating a comprehensive network of primary care, allied health, and corporate wellbeing services across Australia.

Partnered Health comprises a group of established businesses that have served over five million people for more than 25 years. Its Primary Care Group operates a national network of general practices and skin cancer clinics, complemented by the 24/7 telehealth platform TeleWell. This group also includes allied health leaders such as Fuel Your Life, Australia’s largest dietitian provider, and Northcare Physio, South Australia’s largest physiotherapy network, reinforcing a multidisciplinary care model. The Corporate Health & Wellbeing Group focuses on workforce health, safety, and productivity through Jobfit’s occupational health services and Baseline Onsite’s tailored medical support. Mental health services are delivered via New View Psychology, NewPsych Psychology, and Australian EAP, collectively forming Australia’s largest integrated provider of psychological and employee assistance services.

This strategic acquisition allows Bupa to enhance its offering of integrated health solutions. Partnered Health’s extensive footprint and diverse service portfolio, from general practice and telehealth to specialized allied health and corporate mental wellbeing, align with Bupa’s commitment to providing holistic care. The integration is expected to create substantial synergies, enabling Bupa to deliver a more seamless and comprehensive healthcare experience to individuals and businesses.

The combined entity is poised to strengthen its position in the Australian health services market, offering an expanded range of accessible and integrated care options. This move underscores Bupa’s strategy to broaden its direct service delivery and support the evolving health needs of the community.
