Pinnacle Technology Solutions has acquired Network Solutions for an undisclosed amount. The transaction transfers ownership of the domain registrar and web services provider to Pinnacle, which will integrate the acquired operations into its existing portfolio of managed IT and cloud infrastructure offerings.
Network Solutions, recognized as the world’s first domain registrar, provides AI-powered, no-code website building tools, along with hosting and security solutions. Its platform is designed for small businesses and individual users seeking to establish an online presence without deep technical expertise. Pinnacle Technology Solutions focuses on delivering enterprise-grade technology services, including managed networks, cybersecurity, and cloud migration support for mid-sized organizations.
The acquisition gives Pinnacle a direct entry into the self-service web presence market, a segment that complements its higher-touch managed services. For Network Solutions, joining Pinnacle provides access to broader infrastructure resources and a larger support organization, which could accelerate product development and improve service reliability for its existing customer base. Pinnacle stated that the deal aligns with its goal of expanding its customer reach across different business sizes.
Operationally, Pinnacle plans to retain Network Solutions’ brand and current product lines, while gradually integrating back-end systems to reduce costs. The combined entity will offer a wider spectrum of services, from DIY website creation to fully managed IT environments, allowing customers to scale without switching providers. No changes to existing contracts or support channels were announced.
The completion of the deal positions the combined company to serve a more diverse clientele, ranging from first-time website owners to established enterprises. Pinnacle’s next steps will involve unifying its sales teams and aligning product roadmaps, with the expectation that cross-selling opportunities will emerge as the integration proceeds.
