The acquisition sees Faymonville, a prominent name in specialized transport solutions, integrate Morello, an Italian manufacturer renowned for its heavy-duty industrial transfer carts. Based in Turin since 1946, Morello has established itself as a leader in designing and building robust, high-tech vehicles for moving loads up to 1000 tonnes within industrial plants.
Morello's product portfolio includes custom-designed self-propelled transporters (SPMT), AGV carts, flatbed trollies with multiple steering options, rail-guided trollies, and transfer trollies for hazardous work areas. The company specializes in providing bespoke solutions for complex factory logistics problems, serving a diverse range of heavy industries such as steel, oil and gas, naval, automotive, railway, energy and power, and defence. Morello's equipment has a significant international footprint, with installations in factories across more than 30 countries globally.
This strategic acquisition is expected to create significant synergies by broadening Faymonville's offering to encompass internal plant logistics alongside its existing heavy transport capabilities.
