United States Antimony Corporation has acquired Larvotto Resources Limited for an undisclosed amount, signaling a strategic expansion into high-grade antimony and gold assets. United States Antimony Corporation, a significant player in the antimony sector, has bought Larvotto Resources, an Australian resources company known for its advanced Hillgrove Gold and Antimony Project in New South Wales.
Larvotto Resources’ Hillgrove Project is a key asset, containing Australia’s largest and the world’s eighth largest antimony deposit. The project boasts a Maiden Ore Reserve of 636,000oz AuEq @ 6.6g/t AuEq and Mineral Resources of 1.7Moz AuEq @ 7.4g/t AuEq, alongside a substantial exploration target. A Definitive Feasibility Study in May 2025 outlined robust economics, with production expected to commence in 2026, positioning Hillgrove to supply approximately 7% of global antimony requirements annually as global supply tightens. Larvotto also holds a broader portfolio of exploration assets in Australia and New Zealand.
This acquisition is strategically significant for United States Antimony Corporation, enabling it to secure a substantial, near-term source of antimony and gold. The Hillgrove Project's advanced development stage and its capacity to become a major producer align with growing Western government priorities for strategic supply chain security for critical minerals. The acquisition provides access to high-grade resources and an experienced management team with a strong track record in advancing mining projects.
The combination of United States Antimony Corporation's market presence with Larvotto’s proven resource base and development pipeline is expected to create a more formidable entity in the global antimony market. The integrated company will be well-positioned to capitalize on increasing demand for antimony and to leverage the significant gold potential within Larvotto’s portfolio, enhancing its overall production capabilities and market influence.
