Andersen has acquired KIG Consulting for an undisclosed amount, folding the Nigerian firm into its global tax, legal, and advisory network. The transaction adds a multi-divisional consultancy with a strong local footprint to Andersen’s existing operations, though the parties did not disclose financial terms or the effective closing date.
KIG Consulting operates through three strategic divisions: financial audit and business advisory, management consulting, and technical consulting. The firm also provides recruitment and outsourcing services across disciplines such as finance, marketing, legal, engineering, and information technology. Its offerings include executive search, management selection, focused research, and expatriate resourcing, which assists foreign businesses entering the Nigerian market. In addition, KIG delivers bespoke management and technology training courses, including ICT and network integration.
For Andersen, the acquisition broadens its service portfolio in West Africa, particularly in audit, advisory, and human capital solutions. KIG’s established client relationships and local expertise are expected to complement Andersen’s international standards and cross-border capabilities. The deal allows Andersen to offer a more integrated suite of services to multinational clients operating in Nigeria, while giving KIG access to a larger global platform and deeper technical resources.
The combined entity will operate under the Andersen brand, with KIG’s leadership and staff expected to remain in place to ensure continuity for existing clients. The acquisition is part of Andersen’s ongoing expansion in African markets, where demand for integrated advisory and compliance services continues to grow.
