Katahdin Railcar Services, LLC (KRS) operates a comprehensive facility in Milo, Maine, situated on a 130-acre campus. KRS is known for its state-of-the-art automated, high-pressure water jet cleaning system and holds certification from the Orthodox Union as a Kosher certified car cleaning facility. Its operations include a 25,000 sq. ft. tank shop with multiple cleaning bays, 10 working car spots, and a full valve repair shop. Additionally, a 36,000 sq. ft. car repair facility on site handles running repairs and other contract work across 15 car spots. The facility also features a full wastewater treatment plant and the ability to steam and flare multiple cars simultaneously.
This acquisition is poised to create significant synergies by offering customers a truly integrated "one-stop shop" solution.
