Genshare has acquired K-Oz Plumbing, a Brisbane-based plumbing and gasfitting company, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction transfers full ownership of the Southside Brisbane operation to Genshare, which will integrate the acquired business into its existing service portfolio.
K-Oz Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services, including hot water system replacements, emergency call-outs, gasfitting, leak detection, and blocked drain repairs. The company also handles maintenance for rental properties and commercial clients, with a customer base that includes real estate agencies such as Re/Max, Raine and Horne, and First National. It holds a 7-year workmanship guarantee and maintains a strong online reputation across platforms like Truelocal, Google, and Facebook.
Genshare’s acquisition is aimed at expanding its footprint in the Queensland residential services market. By bringing K-Oz Plumbing under its umbrella, Genshare gains access to an established customer base and a team of licensed plumbers and gasfitters already operating across the city’s southern suburbs. The deal also adds recurring revenue streams from property maintenance contracts and emergency service work, which complement Genshare’s broader service offerings.
The integration is expected to allow K-Oz Plumbing to leverage Genshare’s administrative and operational resources, potentially improving response times and service coordination.
