TNGlobal has acquired Jumpstart Media for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings the Hong Kong-based media and events company under the ownership of TNGlobal, a technology news and business intelligence platform focused on the Asian market. Jumpstart Media will continue to operate its existing brands, including Jumpstart Magazine, following the transaction.
Jumpstart Media is known for its coverage of startups and technology across the Asia-Pacific region, publishing a print magazine that serves as a resource for entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate partners. The company also runs Jumpstart Kids, a non-profit initiative that introduces children aged 8 to 12 to entrepreneurship and innovation. In addition, Jumpstart Media has collaborated with organizations such as New World Development, HKTDC, and Global Sources to support acceleration and incubation programs.
For TNGlobal, the acquisition expands its content portfolio and editorial reach within the APAC startup ecosystem. TNGlobal provides news and analysis on technology and business trends, and the addition of Jumpstart Media’s print publication and established network in Hong Kong and the broader region strengthens its position as a media partner for the entrepreneurial community. The deal also gives TNGlobal access to Jumpstart Media’s existing relationships with corporate and government partners.
The combined entity is expected to offer a wider range of coverage and services to readers and partners, leveraging Jumpstart Media’s print presence alongside TNGlobal’s digital distribution. Both companies have indicated that existing programs and partnerships will continue, with no immediate changes to editorial operations or event schedules. The integration process will focus on aligning content strategies and exploring new opportunities for collaboration across their respective audiences.
