Integer Holdings is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for the medical device industry, specializing in components and finished devices for the cardio and vascular, neuromodulation, and cardiac rhythm management sectors. Its portfolio includes well-established brands such as Greatbatch Medical and Lake Region Medical. KKR, a global investment firm, brings substantial experience in healthcare and industrial investments, having previously backed several medical technology companies.
The strategic rationale centers on Integer’s position within a fragmented but growing market. As medical device manufacturers increasingly outsource complex engineering and production, demand for specialized CDMO partners has risen.
