InPost S.A., listed on Euronext Amsterdam, is recognized as the leading out-of-home e-commerce enablement platform across Europe. This acquisition signifies a strategic move to further consolidate and expand its presence in the rapidly evolving digital commerce landscape.
InPost Group operates an extensive network across key European geographies, including Poland, the UK, Italy, the Iberian Peninsula, France, and Benelux through its subsidiary, Mondial Relay. The company provides modern logistics delivery via more than 50,000 out-of-home pick-up points, which include over 27,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs), alongside traditional to-door courier and fulfilment services for e-commerce merchants. In 2022, InPost Group handled 744.9 million parcel deliveries, underscoring its operational scale.
The acquisition by Advent is strategically driven by InPost Group's strong positioning within the fast-growing e-commerce market and its commitment to technological innovation. InPost's strategy emphasizes providing consumers and merchants with a lower cost, more convenient, and sustainable last-mile delivery solution.
