Cuscal Limited has acquired Indue, a provider of financial payment products and settlement services, for an undisclosed amount. This corporate acquisition sees one company directly buying another to expand its market presence and service offerings.
Indue delivers complete end-to-end payment solutions, leveraging strategic business advice and advanced technology. The company’s services include connections to the New Payments Platform (NPP) and PayTo, as well as Orion Financial Crimes solutions, mobile payments, and various card programs. Indue, which is regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and has over 50 years of experience, serves a diverse client base including financial institutions, retailers, government entities, and program managers. It has over 200 employees based in Brisbane and Sydney.
The acquisition is a strategic move by Cuscal Limited to enhance its capabilities within the evolving digital payments landscape. By integrating Indue’s comprehensive solutions and deep expertise, Cuscal aims to significantly broaden its portfolio of payment offerings. This move is expected to create synergies through combined technological strengths and expanded client relationships, ultimately strengthening Cuscal’s position as a robust provider in the financial services sector.
The combination of Cuscal Limited and Indue is anticipated to result in a more comprehensive and efficient suite of payment solutions for clients. This integration will likely lead to enhanced operational efficiencies and a wider market reach, positioning the combined entity to support clients with advanced tools and services for managing transaction-related challenges in a competitive market.
