Adani Defence and Aerospace has acquired Indamer Aviation Pvt. Ltd. for an undisclosed amount. Indamer Aviation, established in 1947, is one of India's leading aviation services companies, offering comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) solutions and a range of support services for civil and business aircraft. This acquisition marks a significant strategic move for Adani Defence and Aerospace as it expands its footprint within the Indian aviation sector.
Indamer Aviation Pvt. Ltd. operates as a 'One Stop Shop' for its customers, providing aircraft maintenance, spares and logistics support, warranty services, refurbishment, and aircraft sales and acquisition. The company is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation under Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR 145) and as a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO). It serves as an authorized service center in India for prominent entities such as AgustaWestland Helicopters, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Embraer Aircraft Company, and Rockwell Collins.
The acquisition is strategically significant for Adani Defence and Aerospace, aiming to integrate Indamer's deep expertise and established infrastructure in aviation services. This move will enhance Adani's capabilities across the aerospace value chain, particularly in the critical MRO segment. By leveraging Indamer's authorized service center accreditations and comprehensive service offerings, Adani seeks to provide more integrated solutions and strengthen its position within India's growing aerospace and defence ecosystem.
The combined entity is expected to offer a more robust and expanded portfolio of aviation services, catering to a wider array of civil and business aviation needs. This integration positions the new combined operation for growth in India's dynamic aviation market, aiming to deliver enhanced efficiency and comprehensive support to its customers.
