Impactive by ActBlue has acquired Impactive for an undisclosed amount, completing a transaction that consolidates leading digital organizing capabilities for impact organizations. This corporate acquisition signifies a strategic move to integrate comprehensive supporter engagement tools within a broader progressive ecosystem.
Impactive, formerly known as Outvote, has established itself as a premier texting, calling, and relational organizing platform. Since its founding in 2017, the company has worked with over 2,000 campaigns and organizations nationwide, including significant clients such as Biden/Harris 2020, Planned Parenthood, the DCCC, SEIU, and When We All Vote. Its platform facilitates various outreach and engagement activities, including peer-to-peer texting, broadcast messaging, phone banking, and custom voter registration, having processed over one billion messages sent by volunteers.
The acquisition is strategically driven by the complementary strengths of both entities. Impactive’s robust suite of digital organizing tools, designed to mobilize volunteers and engage supporters, aligns with the strategic objectives of Impactive by ActBlue. Notably, Impactive already features an ActBlue Integration, enabling clients to measure fundraising performance and automatically import ActBlue donors as contacts. This synergy points towards creating a more unified and efficient platform for progressive campaigns, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and unions to manage both their outreach and fundraising efforts seamlessly.
This purchase aims to enhance the capabilities available to impact organizations by offering a more integrated and powerful digital suite. The combined entity is expected to streamline operations for users, providing a comprehensive solution for member growth, fundraising, issue advocacy, and volunteer mobilization. The outlook suggests a strengthened offering that will empower organizations to scale their impact through advanced engagement and fundraising functionalities.
