Kyndryl has acquired Healthcare IT Leaders for an undisclosed amount. The transaction brings the healthcare-focused IT consulting and workforce solutions provider under the ownership of the global technology services firm, which operates in more than 60 countries.
Healthcare IT Leaders specializes in enterprise IT consulting, managed services, and workforce solutions for the healthcare sector. The company supports clinical, business, and operational systems, with expertise in EHR, ERP, HCM, WFM, CRM, and RCM platforms. Its consultants implement and optimize software from vendors such as Epic, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, Workday, UKG, Oracle, ServiceNow, Infor, and Snowflake. Kyndryl, which provides IT infrastructure services and digital transformation support to large enterprises, will now incorporate this healthcare-specific talent pool and delivery capability into its own service portfolio.
The acquisition is intended to strengthen Kyndryl’s position in the healthcare industry, a sector where system complexity and regulatory demands create steady demand for specialized implementation and managed services. Healthcare IT Leaders brings a decade of experience in deploying and maintaining critical systems that directly affect patient care workflows. For Kyndryl, this adds a dedicated healthcare practice with established vendor relationships and a workforce skilled in high-stakes go-live environments. For Healthcare IT Leaders, joining Kyndryl provides access to a broader global infrastructure and a larger client base, which could accelerate its reach beyond its current national footprint.
The combined entity will focus on delivering end-to-end services for healthcare organizations, from system strategy and implementation to ongoing management and optimization. Kyndryl will integrate Healthcare IT Leaders’ consultants into its existing delivery model, while retaining the acquired company’s specialized healthcare focus. The deal is expected to close following customary conditions, after which the two teams will begin aligning their service offerings and client engagement processes.
