VSE Corporation has acquired GenNx/AeroRepair IntermediateCo Inc., parent company of AeroRepair Corp, for an undisclosed amount. AeroRepair Corp, founded in 1994, is a leading North American maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider specializing in critical aircraft components. Headquartered in Londonderry, NH, AeroRepair holds FAA and EASA certifications and operates a robust network of eight strategic locations across the continent, offering comprehensive services for wheels, brakes, batteries, landing gear, and various mechanical assemblies for a wide range of regional and corporate jet and turboprop aircraft.
The acquired company is recognized as North America’s largest full-service MRO provider in its niche, known for its extensive capabilities across popular aircraft models from manufacturers like Embraer, Bombardier, and Cessna. It offers full support for components from Meggitt, Collins, and Parker Hannaford. Its self-contained machine shop provides full support to its repair station and manufactures aviation and non-aviation components. AeroRepair emphasizes industry-leading turnaround times, supported by a company-owned logistics system and efficient service for AOG and expedited shipments from key hubs like Manchester Airport (MHT).
This acquisition represents a significant strategic move, integrating AeroRepair’s specialized MRO expertise and expansive operational footprint into VSE Corporation. The addition of AeroRepair’s deep component-level repair capabilities, established certifications, and strong customer relationships across airlines, regional partners, and general aviation is expected to bolster VSE’s portfolio. Synergies are anticipated through the combination of AeroRepair’s technical proficiency and market leadership in critical aircraft component MRO with the acquirer's resources, potentially enabling expanded service offerings and enhanced market penetration.
The combined entity is positioned to deliver an even broader range of comprehensive MRO solutions to the aviation industry. This integration aims to leverage AeroRepair’s operational excellence and specialized service offerings to meet evolving customer needs and capitalize on opportunities within the aerospace maintenance sector.
