Havas, a global communications group, has acquired Gauly, a leading German strategy and communications consultancy, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition marks a significant move to deepen Havas's expertise and presence in the European corporate advisory market.
Gauly Advisors GmbH is a prominent partner-led consulting firm in Germany, specializing in strategy and communication for CEOs, boards, and senior executives. The firm provides counsel on strategic alignment and communication, particularly in critical situations such as crises, restructurings, M&A transactions, IPOs, and leadership changes. Additionally, Gauly assists companies with long-term projects like cultural and digital transformation. With approximately 80 consultants and senior advisors, Gauly serves a diverse client base ranging from global corporations and DAX companies to family businesses and SMEs, operating internationally with offices in Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, and Munich.
The acquisition is strategically designed to integrate Gauly’s specialized, high-level advisory capabilities into Havas’s broader communications and public relations network. Gauly’s deep understanding of German and European corporate landscapes, combined with its established reputation for navigating complex and sensitive client situations, will strengthen Havas's offering in strategic corporate counsel. This formalizes and expands upon Gauly’s existing relationship as a member of H/Advisors, a global association of leading communications consultancies within the Havas ecosystem.
Expected synergies include an expanded service portfolio for clients, offering more comprehensive solutions across strategic communication, crisis management, and corporate transformation. The combined entity aims to leverage Gauly’s strong market position in Germany and its high-profile client relationships with Havas’s global reach and resources. This integration is anticipated to enhance the group's ability to deliver impactful advisory services to a wider array of multinational and domestic clients, solidifying its standing as a key player in strategic corporate communications.
