Captain Fresh has acquired FRIME, S.A.U., a prominent European leader in MSC tuna sales, for an undisclosed amount. Based in Barcelona and chaired by Salvador Ramon, FRIME, S.A.U. is a three-generation family corporation. It currently leads the European market in MSC tuna sales, processing 37,000 metric tons annually. The company serves over 2,000 customers and operates seven production plants spanning 21,600 m², employing more than 450 people. FRIME, S.A.U. reported a turnover of €172 million as of the end of 2024 and has invested €50 million over the past three years to enhance its production infrastructure, including expanding its productive surface by 18,640 m². The company is also a member of the United Nations Global Compact, aligning its operations with principles of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
