The acquisition integrates Finnsusp’s specialized capabilities into IXI’s operations.
Finnsusp’s core expertise lies in ophthalmic product development, manufacturing, and R&D, all conducted at its facilities in Finland. The company produces contact lens care solutions and eye care products featuring biological substances and unique formulations, sold under its Piiloset brand and as private labels. Finnsusp also operates an ophthalmic lens laboratory dedicated to manufacturing individual Free-Form spectacle lenses. Its products are exported to over 30 countries across Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, and Africa.
The acquisition is strategically significant for IXI, bringing Finnsusp’s established product portfolio, specialized manufacturing processes, and extensive international distribution network under its umbrella. Finnsusp’s B-2-B services, including R&D, contract, OEM, and OBL manufacturing, particularly for sterile ophthalmic products in ISO 5 class clean rooms, represent a valuable addition.
