IntelyCare has acquired CareRev for an undisclosed amount, integrating the nurse-founded and nurse-led workforce platform into its operations. This strategic move sees IntelyCare, a prominent provider in healthcare staffing solutions, expand its capabilities in managing the dynamic needs of acute healthcare facilities.
CareRev operates an app-based, dual-sided platform designed to empower hospitals and health systems. It enables them to better manage internal staffing resources while seamlessly connecting with a flexible, local network of per diem clinicians. The platform integrates with existing scheduling systems, facilitating real-time self-scheduling, enhancing internal float pools with smart automation, and offering clinicians the freedom to pick up shifts that fit their lives. With over a decade of experience, CareRev has partnered with nearly 40 healthcare organizations and filled more than half a million shifts through its IRP+ and Marketplace solutions.
The acquisition is set to create significant synergies, strengthening IntelyCare’s market position by offering a more comprehensive suite of workforce management tools. By combining IntelyCare’s existing expertise with CareRev’s innovative technology and established network, the unified entity aims to provide healthcare leaders with enhanced control, agility, and confidence in today’s complex workforce environment. This integration is expected to deliver scalable, cost-effective staffing strategies that benefit both facilities and clinicians.
Looking ahead, the combined organization is poised to drive further innovation in healthcare workforce solutions. It will focus on empowering healthcare organizations with advanced tools to optimize staffing and support clinicians with greater flexibility and choice, ultimately contributing to improved patient care delivery.
