Belgian Waffle, known for its expertise in designing and building advanced production lines, strengthens Vixar’s presence in the global food processing sector. This transaction marks a significant expansion for Vixar, integrating a specialist in industrial-scale baking solutions.
The acquired entity, operating as Belgian Waffle, specializes in the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of bespoke industrial baking equipment. This includes world-class hot plate lines and VanderPol brand waffle equipment, producing a range of products such as Stroop Waffles, Belgian Waffles, Funcakes, and Soft Waffles. With capabilities to deliver and service equipment worldwide from its UK base, Belgian Waffle has established a reputation for reliability and precision, with production lines capable of 5,000 up to 20,000 pieces per hour.
This acquisition is strategically aimed at expanding Vixar's product portfolio and market reach within the highly specialized industrial bakery equipment segment. The integration of Belgian Waffle's manufacturing prowess and established global service network is expected to generate significant synergies, allowing the combined entity to offer a more comprehensive suite of solutions to the bakery industry.
