These include private equity, venture capital, life sciences, real assets (real estate and infrastructure), and private debt/credit, managed through a selection of international managers and various strategies. The firm currently oversees approximately 17.9 billion euros in assets committed by investors.
This acquisition is strategically aimed at enhancing Mercer's global investment solutions, particularly in the rapidly growing private markets sector. AltamarCAM's deep expertise and established presence in alternative assets will complement Mercer's existing offerings, allowing for a broader and more sophisticated suite of investment opportunities for clients worldwide.
